Went to Glastonbury in June 2009. It was fucking mind blowing, never seen so many people get together for the same reason. Which is basically to get high, drunk or (and) to listen to music. You can't imagine what it's like unless you've been there yourself. Everyone Is so happy and enjoying their lives for 4 days. Hedonism is the word to describe the feeling there, and psychedelic, schizophrenic, mind blasting FUN. Went to see Lily Allen, Bruce Springsteen (shit), Lady Gaga, Peaches (amazing), Tom Jones, Jodie Harsh, Pharrell Williams and many many more. The truth however is that you could spend the whole festival without seeing any performers, there is so much more to do. Like for example Trash City, Shangri La, Arcadia, The greenfields and last but not least the Stone Circle. However If you discover the stone circle you might not even know you are at Glastonbury, due to the consumption of some illegal, and maybe not so illegal substances. I Warmly recommend and believe that everyone should experience glastonbury at least once in their lives. There is something for everyone at this festival, from ages 1-100. This year someone gave birth at the festival. Truly phenomenal.
